The New Luxury in Las Vegas – the Cosmopolitan Hotel
Although the recession is still hurting Sin City, Las Vegas, a new luxury hotel in Las Vegas has just opened on December 15. The Cosmopolitan Hotel is hoping to lure in thousands of gamblers and pleasure seekers through its doors and beat out the competition in its class. The Cosmopolitan Hotel, costing about $.39 billion dollars, built by a German investor’s bank began construction just before the recession hit when the original developer defaulted on his payments.
One of the sleekest ad campaigns for a hotel ever to reach our TV screens is showing on TVs right now, a part of the marketing effort to promote Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. The 60 second commercial, with a jazzy tune accompanying gorgeous women and men dancing across shining marble floors, tables laden with food and drink, white Persian cats and lots of black lingerie and winding staircases, directed by Tarsem Singh, created by Zoic Studios, gives you a thousand sexy reasons to stay at this new luxury hotel in Las Vegas. You can see the Cosmopolitan Hotel video below.
The luxurious Cosmopolitan Hotel offers guests a choice of 2,995 large hotel rooms with kitchenettes, spacious terraces with fabulous views of Las Vegas designed in an attempt to offer something most other hotels in Las Vegas don’t have. The gambling casino is big enough to fill two football fields with some slots offering slot-side bottle services. Although there are only a few bacarat tables to begin with, there will be more in the future as customer demand for this game was not hit by the recession. The Cosmopolitan Hotel’s major competition is the luxury hotel, the Bellagio, just to the north.
The interiors of the Cosmopolitan Hotel are meant to over-awe one with giant video screens and moving art and sleek, “cosmopolitan” design. At the resort, guests can sip on cocktails inside a three storey chandelier. World class cuisine is available at any of the Cosmopolitan’s 13 restaurants to please any demanding gourmet and you can even find a pizza joint here if you want plain and simple.
For a Las Vegas luxury hotel, the Cosmopolitan Hotel is certainly a star in its class and presents stiff competition for the Bellagio. After all, most people want to be awed and thrilled these days and hotels are going to have to offer something out of the ordinary to survive in a cut-throat world.
